The whole second grade read the book You Read to Me, I’ll Read to You: Very Short Fairy Tales by Mary Ann Hoberman. We had a lot of fun reading the short stories as partners. You can get very expressive and fall into the role that you are reading. We practiced our fluency and then were able to perform the stories and make a movie. We even created the settings and dressed as our favorite fairy tale characters. We had a really good time with these fairy tales. We think you would too! So, read You Read to Me, I’ll Read to You: Very Short Fairy Tales by Mary Ann Hoberman and maybe you will be transported to a magical world of fairy tales too!
Many thanks to Naugatuck Education Foundation. Our Book Talks Book Club received an iPad through their generous grant program. Now the students can make, edit, and upload their videos of their book talks! We really appreciate your support.
