I just read the most entertaining book ever!!!!!!!! It is called The One and Only Ivan. In the story Ivan, the silver back gorilla, Stella, the elephant, and Bob, the dog, live together in domains at an arcade. Ivan is an artist. So is Julia, Ivan’s friend. Then another elephant, Ruby, enters the arcade. She is scared. Stella calms her. Then, Stella’s foot infection started to show. Will Stella survive her foot infection? Stellaluna: A Book Talk by Ms. Wilson’s Class
We just read the classic story Stellaluna by Janell Cannon. The book had stunning illustrations that drew us into the book. The story was about a baby fruit bat named Stellaluna that was separated from her mother during an owl attack. Luckily, Stellaluna landed in a bird’s nest. Stellaluna was forced to behave like a bird in order to live. Will she adjust to eating bugs and not sleeping upside down? Will she be reunited with her mom? Read Stellaluna to find out! We give this book five stars!
