I just read a timeless book called The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. It’s about a boy named Huck who has a friend that’s a slave named Jim. Jim ran away from his master. Huck also ran away after his father locked him in his cabin. Apparently, Huck went to the same place Jim went to escape. Next, they made a raft that has all their stuff on it and that’s their new home. Then somebody finds Jim and he gets turned into a slave again. Huck tried to find him. Then he ran into his best friend, Tom Sawyer. Huck tells Tom all about what happened. They teamed up and rescued Jim. Next, somebody finds Jim AGAIN. Then he got chained to his bed and there were guards watching him. Will Huck and Tom get Jim out? Read The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Samuel Langhorne Clemens (AKA Mark Twain) to find out.
