I just finished reading a book called “The Door Bell Rang”, by Pat Hutchins.  The book is about a boy and a girl about to have cookies that their mom made for them. Suddenly, the doorbell rang, and two friends came in.  Shortly after the doorbell rang again, and two more friends came in.  The doorbell kept ringing until there were twelve friends in the house. The doorbell rang once again, this time it was grandma. Would they have enough cookies for everyone to eat? Read this book to find out.
