I just read a phenomenal series called The Heroes of Olympus by Rick Riordan. In this series 7 demigods must go on a quest to stop Gaea, the earth goddess, from awaking. If Gaea does awake she will destroy the world. There is a catch though, Gaea has lots of monsters on her side. This will make it harder for the 7 demigods to prevent Gaea from awaking.
