I just read an amazing story called The Island of Dr. Libris by Chris Grabenstein. In the story there’s a kid named Billy. Billy and his mother stayed in a cabin for the whole summer and the cabin has no technology, what so ever, so, he reads. When he is reading he hears a weird noise across the island.
