We just read a hilarious book called Three Cheers for Tacky written by Helen Lester. In the story Tacky is different from the other penguins. In fact, you might even call him goofy. One day Tacky and his friends enter a cheering contest. Tacky’s friends cheered in sync. Tacky did not. Tacky’s friends cheered with talent. Tacky, not so much. The competition was soon arriving. We just read an outstanding book called Sylvester and the Magic Pebble written by William Steig. In this story a donkey named Sylvester found a magic pebble.
